BeHealthyCanada.com is a Web portal site that gives consumers the ability to obtain up-to-the-minute health care information, from a variety of important sources in one convenient "portal" location. BeHealthyCanada.com is a national initiative with a grassroots approach designed to assist Canadians in choosing a healthier lifestyle.

Advertisers on the BeHealthyCanada.com portal pages will have the opportunity to reach an audience that is looking specifically for information on health care subjects. These subjects range from locating a family doctor, to finding information on specific medical conditions; from looking for employment prospects in the ever-growing health care field, to finding a dentist in their neighbourhood.

There are two distinct paths to take in our BeHealthyCanada.com Web portal, a consumer path and a health care professional's path. The projected launch date for the consumer area is October 2003, and is now in the beta stage. The secure professional area will be designed specifically for and accessed only by health care professionals, with a target launch date of late November 2003.

All advertising opportunities are bound by contract and fees are prepaid in full before the activation date of the contract. Advertisers supply their own graphic materials in either JPEG or GIF format. If required, graphic services are available for an additional fee. Set-up costs to place ads apply to both the consumer path and the secure professional path.
